our first MaterniTEA party

Posh Belly is pleased to announce our first ever Maternitea Party to be held Tuesday , March 24th at the boutique. Offered each trimester, tea parties will be fun and informative gatherings offered to our customers, while giving them a chance to get together with other moms and moms-to-be. Attendees will hear from local expert speakers and be pampered with yummy food, gifts, samples, complimentary massages, and more. The parties are free and open to anyone interested in attending. Each tea party will feature local expert guest speakers. Topics will vary and shall include newborn nuances, how to choose the best childcare for your family, the benefits and methods of infant massage, and finding a friendly pediatrician, just to name a few! Our first guest speaker is Richmond's own super doula, Kathy Stewart, who will discuss birth plans and beyond. In addition, to the lecture series, we will offer a special shopping hour to our guests with discounts on the total purchase, in addition to huge markdowns on our remaining fall and winter merchandise. And no party would be complete without door prizes and gift bags for all.

In order to shower our guests with some of our favorite products, we have teamed up with many of our local and national vendors. Gifts and giveaways include free portrait sitting sessions, baby clothes and layette, organic skincare products, rattles, bibs and burp cloths, organizers, diaper bag tags, and much, much more. We appreciate our partners’ support and their generous donations that have helped to make these events possible.

Winter Clearance

You know what amazes me? Spring starts shipping as early as December. Maybe it's because Maternity fashion wants to stay in step with regular women's fashion; maybe it's to give us hope of warmer days; or maybe it is because most of the maternity manufacturers are located in California and Florida where such clothing would be needed and appropriate. It makes it tough though to find a good sweater or pair of cords come March when we still might see snow (granted it would just be a flurry these days, but it really used to snow inches in Richmond in March when I was a kid). Why am I talking about shipping dates? Well, spring is arriving and so are the clothes. We are starting to receive new items for mom and baby every day! So in order to make room, it is time for us to clear out all of our remaining winter stock. If you haven't had a chance to take advantage of our recent sales, now is the time.
